They say you don’t get a second chance to make a good first impression and that is why when rapper CJ Biggerman broke through a security detail to freestyle for American rapper, Rick Ross at the Kotoka International Airport, he blew it out of the park.
The video of CJ Biggerman’s bravery went viral and got him the opportunity to perform alongside Rick Ross at Detty Rave in December and according to him, that is the boldest decision he has taken to draw attention to his talent.
Narrating the whole experience to Graphic Showbiz at the launch of his Bigger Picture EP recently, CJ Biggerman said he was ready for the trolls on social media if the stunt had backfired.
“I was with my team and friends and when I told them this is what I wanted to do most of them were not in favour. They thought it was a risky move to make but there was one who gave me the vim to go ahead with my plans.
“I was like if I’m embarrassed, I will be trolled for just a few days and still get the media calling me for interviews on what happened so why don’t I dare the consequences and make this move.
“Surprisingly, things went well beyond my expectation and in the shortest time, the struggling underground artiste was making big headlines internationally with a Rick Ross endorsement as the best rapper.

“It was a life-changing experience for me and for now, I’m riding on that for more acknowledgments in the music space,” he stated.
CJ Biggerman explained that he will not be content with where he is but pursue bigger opportunities.
“I will work hard and stay true to myself. I won’t let the fame get to me at all because it has been years of hard work and praying for a breakthrough and as if by divine intervention, it just happened the way it should be,” he stated.
Born Christian Jojo Joshua, CJ Biggerman is an old boy of Tema Secondary School and a graduate of Regional Maritime University.
He was a finalist of MTN Hitmaker Season 4 and has shared the same stage with big acts like KiDi, Kuami Eugene, Okyeame Kwame, Magnom among others. He also got featured on Sarkodie’s Biibi Ba in 2018 and was nominated in the VGMA Unsung category in 2016.
