President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is not bothered about the latest rating of his performance in office by policy think tank, IMANI Ghana.
According to him, the real rating will be done by Ghanaians at the polls in December 2020.
IMANI scored President Akufo-Addo 48.78% in its 2019 Imanifesto report which seeks to validate the promises made by the New Patriotic Party in the run-up to the 2020 polls and how many of those promises have been accomplished three years on.
IMANI said out of 162 promises, only 41 have been implemented.
But, reacting to this report at a media encounter at the Jubilee House on Friday, December 13, 2019, President Akufo-Addo disagreed with IMANI’s figures.
“I disagree with the 48 per cent assessment; we are working with a figure of 72 per cent,” he said.
The President explained that, their “assessment of the conditions in the country is the accurate one.”
President Akufo-Addo is confident given his performance, Ghanaians will retain him in power to continue his good works.
