Acclaimed Nigerian Gospel musician, Osinachi Kalu, popularly known as Sinach, has revealed her intentions to collaborate with some Ghanaian Gospel acts in future.
The Way Maker hitmaker, who made this known at the official launch of this year’s Women In Worship concert at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra on Monday, September 17, said she had always admired the talents in Ghana and will not hesitate to record with them when the time is right.
“Ghanaians have amazing Gospel musicians and I don’t mind working with them but the decision will be based on not just what the Lord tells me but the economic benefits as well,” she stated.
Her busy schedule coupled with her short stays in Ghana were some of the factors she mentioned as reasons she hadn’t had any collaborations yet but said she is hopeful.
The I Stand Amazed singer said even though she doesn’t understand any Ghanaian language, she has admired some artistes over the years.
Sinach is the headline artiste for Women in Worship, scheduled for the Perez Dome, Dzorwulu on Thursday, September 20. “I can’t wait for the Women In Worship Concert on Thursday because God will use me to bless so many people,” she said.
Another artiste on the bill, Ceccy Twum, who was also at the press conference, said it is a privilege for her to perform with Sinach on the same stage.
“Sinach is one of the respected Gospel artistes around and I am glad I will be performing on the same platform with her. This is my second time on Women In Worship Concert and I am glad the organisers gave me another opportunity,” she said.
The Women In Worship concert, organised by Genet Services, is aimed at highlighting the excellence and mystery that God used in creating a woman.
