Ghanaian afrobeat and hip hop musician, Lord Paper, has released a new song, Fa me ye, after a long period of silence in the music industry.
This follows his recent declaration of his new found faith in God after his music video, Awurama, received criticism and sparked controversy in the country for its explicit content.
In an exclusive interview with theindependentghana.com in August, the singer revealed he had a life changing encounter with founder of Perez Chapel Int, Bishop Charles Agyinasare; after which he made known his stance as a new convert.
He expressed regret over the Awuarama video and said moving forwrad, his music will have no content of nudity.
“When it comes to music, if you listen to my songs, I am always preaching positivity in my music. I will be doing inspirational music, positive music, gospel music, but I am not going to limit myself. What I am going to do is, I am not going to use my music in a negative way anymore.”
Fa me ye would be his first single this year, after his song, ‘Call on me’ in 2017.
