Mr Afriyie was also intercepted in an audio urging one policeman to strike a deal with him concerning one of his victims locked up in a police station.

“He moves from pubs to clubs and other recreational centres to collect monies in the name of GHAMRO and MUSIGA. He has created his ID Cards and since most Ghanaians don’t rectify he couldn’t be caught. We warned him several times but he said we had no evidence against him so we have finally caught him…” he told Andy Dosty.
