Former Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transport Limited (BOST) Alfred Obeng Boateng has denied claims that he jubilated over the removal of Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko from office.

Reports circulating on social media indicated that the former BOST boss was excited about the exit of Mr Agyarko.

But he says the reports are inaccurate.

He also denies that he had a hand in the removal of the Minister whose dismissal many found upsetting.

According to him, he has never passed any comment that casts Mr Agyarko, government or any entity in a bad light since his removal from office.

He added that none of the accusations are factual.

Addressing the chiefs and people of Bibiani, Mr Boateng said he has, since he exited office a couple of months ago, promised to contribute his quota to the development of the area and will not relent from that promise.

He further encouraged the residents to involve themselves in active politicking as a means of drawing more appointments from governments and encourage the development of the community.

Mr Obeng Boateng was removed from office as BOST MD without stated reason in June this year.
