Head coach of Black Princesses Yusif Basigi has reiterated his outfit’s readiness for the upcoming FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in France.

The Ghana U20 women’s team will kick-start their FIFA Women’s World Cup campaign with a clash against host nation France on Sunday.

According to coach Basigi, his team are ready for the clash and hinted on surprising their opponents.

“We have prepared well and I want to believe the girls are ready for the tournament,” he said

“We take on France which we I know will be a very difficult game but I am sure we can surprise them.

“Our main target is to get out of the group stage and from there we will look at going far in the competition.”

Basigi’s side will hold their last training on Saturday before the game.

Ghana is in the same group with France, New Zealand and the Netherlands.
