Two workers from Kenya’s tax agency were found dead on Sunday after their car was washed away by floods on Friday in the coastal region.
The Kenya Coast Guard found the body of a man who was carried away while riding his motorcycle.
Officials said that 10 people have died at the coast after three days of heavy rain and flooding.
More than 20,000 families have been forced to leave their homes in Mombasa, Kilifi, Kwale, and Tana River because of the flooding, said the Coast regional police commissioner Rhoda Onyancha on Saturday.
Many people have died and many more have been forced to leave their homes because of heavy rains and flooding caused by the El Niño weather pattern. It has been happening since early November and has affected the entire country.
The big rains and floods have killed many people in neighboring countries like Somalia and Ethiopia.
